Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What are my payment options?

A. Payments can be made by Credit Card, Debit Card or by Paypal. All payments are processed securely by Sage Pay or Paypal. 

Q. I would like to collect my order today, how can I check to see if there is stock at my chosen collection point?

A. We normally hold stock at most of our collection points for orders of just a few bags in which case your order can be reserved for collection the same day.  Should we be out of stock at your collection point, then we will move stock from our feeder warehouse to your collection point usually for next day collection. We will keep you fully notified of your order status by email.  If you would like to confirm stock levels prior to ordering, please call us on 0203 286 7367.

Q. I would like my order delivered to an address other than the one registered on my credit card.

A. No problem. Just fill in the required delivery address during the ordering process where prompted.

Q. How do I know when my order will be delivered/ready for collection?

A. An email with your delivery/collection details will be sent to you within one working day of placing your order.  Alternatively, you may choose a convenient delivery/collection date during the ordering process. 

Q. I have not received an email with my delivery/collection details.

A. Sometimes spam filters stop legitimate emails getting through. Please check your spam folder to see if our mail is there. If not, please contact us to let us know and we will send your details again, preferably to an alternate email address if you have one.

Q. My salt has not turned up.

A. This may be because your order has not been delivered in time to your local delivery depot or that the delivery branch has been unable to contact you to confirm your delivery date. Please give the delivery branch a call direct... the contact and ticket number details may be found in your delivery information email.  Alternatively, email us to let us know and we will chase it up.

Q. The delivery depot has not called to confirm the delivery date.

A. This may be because there has been no answer when they called or that the delivery depot is expecting your order into the depot on the delivery day. Please contact the delivery branch direct... if your delivery date requires confirming then the contact and ticket number details will be found in your delivery information email.

Q. I will not be in on the date that my order has been arranged.

A. Please email us with a suitable date or if you would prefer, leave a signed note for the delivery driver advising a safe place to leave your order (domestic salt orders only).

Q. My delivery details are incorrect, what should I do?

A. Please email us as soon as possible to let us know.

Q. How do I contact you?

Q. I would like to pay by card over the phone.

A. Please call us on 0203 286 7367 to place your order.

Q. I'm not too sure if my water softener requires tablet salt, granular salt or block salt.

A. Usually tablets are best suited for domestic water softeners, however it is always advisable to check with your water softener user instructions or contact the manufacturer direct.

Q. How do I know this is a genuine site?
